His key research interest lies in contemporary (re-)figurations of religion. As Research Assistant, he is part of the German Team of the Recovira Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menzel studied Sociology and Philosophy at Goethe University Frankfurt. During an exchange semester in Wroclaw (Poland) in 2019, he focused on intercultural mediation. He graduated from Sociology in 2022 with an ethnographic research thesis on embodied ethics in an evangelical church planting movement.
